Sample Activities and
Highlights

  1. Students will experience Kennedy Space Center's new multi-million dollar Deep Space Launch Complex and explore distant worlds by using the Webb Space Telescope Holo Tube interactive kiosk and 3D models, before being strapped into their seats for an awe-inspiring simulated journey through the solar system on their journey to Mars (and back!) to witness the rugged beauty of the Red Planet.

  2. Participants will experience a hands-on introduction to Florida's rich marine life, including its inhabitants, and witness the seabird and turtle rehabilitation efforts of a marine science hospital. Students will discover ways to conserve and protect our environment and the resources around us...with the goal of inspiring the next generation of scientists.

  3. A behind-the-scenes 3D Animation workshop to learn about 3D Design, 3D Sculpting, and Animation basics. . .and how 3D modeling helps engineers scrutinise all aspects of a concept design.  The workshop takes place in the backlot of Universal Studios, Studio 25, at the School of Digital Animation and Visual Effects.
